It seriously blew my mind, and such. Talk about pin-up hotness.
If you have seen the anime for Yami no Matsuei, you will remember the iconic church that Muraki and Tsuzuki had their first encounter in. It is a real church!

of course, is the most famous person on DA for having sexy, funny and awesome arts of Yami no Matsuei!
Yami no Matsuei is a manga about the lives of shinigami, or guardians of death. The main characters are connected by means of murder, and are bound together by fate through one person: their killer, rapist, obsession: Kazutaka Muraki.
The manga is about their journey to help souls that have escaped hell find their way back to death, and to defeat their undying killer who just happens to be a smoking silver fox doctor. With a glass eye and he molests wine glasses.
Seriously, this is a good story. It has a lot of adult content and BL so you might wanna be careful. But the art of the manga is unmatched in epicness, and it will keep you wanting more. This journal is a tribute to the story, it's characters; my first favorite BL manga.

BTW: YnM = not actual BL, but very much so Slashable. Apparently Yoko dislikes BL, and is why she changed her style to make it more less... Bishie and Bisenen... and gay..

The only reason YnM seems... Yaoi/BL/Shounen Ai is because of us fans wanting it to be BL. Lol. True facts of life, but hell, since when did that stop me from drawing MuxTsu? ~ xDDD

Why'd she add all that teasing and sexual tension, especially between Muraki and Tsuzuki (even though Muraki has a female fiancee) and Tsuzuki and Tatsumi (which was at the very least a VERY deep friendship) ...? Not a BL persay, but... THE TEASING IS SO MEAN. IT'S WORSE THAN PRINCESS-PRINCESS WAS.

I love her new style, even though her original is much more detailed. Sadly though, I think her new style kind of crippled the series' continued success especially after her hand surgery. Which is a pity, because no matter WHAT the outcome of the manga (good or awful) I wanted to see it finished DX how many years has it been since those one-shots.... *bawww*

If YNM is not a BL, I wonder what genre it technically belongs to? The English cover says 'shoujo' but MANNNNN that manga is far from shoujo.

Have you Played the YnM Romance game?
[I think it's called, Yami no Romance]
It's a fan-made game, like a dating sim game I think, kinda cute, short, but it's been translated into English. Loved the Artwork, although the guys could have been more masculine.
It's got Muraki in it! and I keep getting him at the end ~ XDD

That's the way I see it.
Just very slashable. There was another Anime that was Slahsable too, can't think of it. Ah! DNAngel! Seemed like BL between 2 characters, but wasn't really. Just... a weird relatioship full of angst and so on.
Same goes for that other anime.. um.. The count of Monte Crisco? or shit like that.
Muraki's a freak, that's why he has a female fiancee! He's Bi... we all know it ~ xDD

Yoko has a lot of non-bl fans in Japan, so it can't possibly be BL, or they'd leave her where she stood ~ ;_;
I suppose the Manga was rated a Shoujo Manga as it has pretty men [+ the style], so they automatically thought it's a girly manga, when it's pretty much anything and everything. Not like that's a problem ~ xD
It's genre is like, Horror, Mystery, Shoujo, Slashable, Fantasy/Sci-fic(?) and stuff like that..
BUT GAWD. I HATE THE TEASING TOO. IT'S MURDER. IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.
