My grandfather (whom I think I told you a while back had a stroke) is doing better, but unfortunately still not well. He has to have constant supervision, but my family is finding it difficult to have someone there 24/7.


The schedule is 'fine for now,' but my dad made them a suggestion: "WE SEND OUR FIRSTBORN CHILD TO YOU TO BE A COMBAT BUTLER."

Not those exact words but it's the gist of it.


I'd move from Texas to Maryland for about a month or two, to help out my family and such. At first I was flipping out all "OMG CAN I BRING MY COMPUTER, I CAN'T LEAVE ~Daioh--Kitten BEHIND, I CAN'T POSSIBLY READ YAOI AT MY GRANDFATHERS HOUSE, WHAT IF MY PARENTS RENT OUT MY ROOM TO STRANGERS AND SELL MY MANGA."


But, they explained it to me, and it doesn't sound as scary. I AM 19, and the only one in our family without a job or education (your welcome) so I have many free times. It wouldn't be for too long, and I have always wanted to be a combat butler. (I even get to wear a badass tux and train in martial arts--what, I didn't tell you? We're an ITALIAN family, gangbangin' since before you knew!)
...My grandfather is a very important person.


As for now, it's probably not going to be needed, but my dad warned me that I AM THEIR ONLY HOPE/notinthoseexactwords so, I kind of feel happy they even considered me, their failure, to even be an option to help with the family.

In the meanwhile, please pray (or wish on stars or just keep in thoughts, da yo) that everything goes OK and I don't have to move. But if I do, that I would be okay, and so would my friends and family and secret stash of... adult material. (That none of them need to know about.)

What would you think of if I made a blog SPECIFICALLY for reviewing BL titles? I'm talking every BL title I have ever watched, which is... many of them.

In my style of review of course, Ze Daioh Style. Full of fun for everyone. Informative, yet sarcastic. In Depth, yet shallow.


I would take requests for reviews, as well as review some of my own favorite titles.
It would explain everything from the age range, rape-a-dex (how important rape is, if you haven't already read my HOW TO WRITE YAOI guide), romantic factors, plot detail, animation and music etc. so you can know how I think of the title.

Hurray, I got my Secret Santa todays~~ prepare for a win surprise! And if you are reading, MY santa--you don't have to draw all 4 choices of my wishes XD just one is fine (I put a few in case you didn't want to do one of them 'kaykay <3 )

ANYHOO

My mom had surgery on a device in her spine for migraines this week, to have it removed 'cause it broke OTL --It sounds scary, but it was actually a minor-ish procedure. So, I'm doing stuff like driving and more chores and lifting while she is recovering, so things are sort of busy-ish.

Thank you for the advice in my last journal! I asked if there were things you noticed about my art that could improve. Here were the main things you noted:

--Coloring and shading--make it more bold and realistic, meaning more than 2 tones! Lazyfaece!
(Achieved by lots of practice and experimenting!)

--Making lines neater
(Better editing!)

--Putting up moar in general
(ff~)

--Making anatomy less 'Code Geass' syndrome!
(By studying people with more variety of shapes)

To get better at art, you have to practice and practice, and sometimes ask others opinions XD so thank you so much, they mean so much to me!! If you have more suggestions, feel free to comment me harsh as you want (I can try to help you too, even though I'm not really cut out to give advice I know a little bit.)
