19 years old--that's one year away from 20, which is halfway to 40, which is practically 50 which is the age my dad is turning this year.

Oi.

I usually get depressed around my birthday due to my pending mortality, until I realize that there is still so much left to DO. Old enough to take charge, is 19! 19 years of art experience to build on. So many years ahead to learn and rule the world with--it's not about the time I no longer have, but using the time I have left to it's fullest!

In that sense, it is amazing to be 19. That's the problem with moping about--it doesn't accomplish anything, it's just sitting around! Take CHARGE of what you want to do, grab it by the balls and GO. That's my goal this year.
